    SCENT
Cedar, citrus: not overpowering, well balanced. You’ll smell it once in a while throughout the day. A bit of the previous water based scent Is present.

    SCOOPING, MIXING
The pomade has a whitish color. No pressure is needed to scoop it out. It has a creamy texture. You need pressure to break it down. Therefore take small scoops, this helps. Here some tricks to facilitate the job:
Dave Leslies trick: moving your 5 fingers over the palm of your hand.
The Western gent/my trick too: rubbing palms together.

    APPLICATION
On dry or slightly damp hair. It goes in easy and a few scoops are enough to style your hair nicely. It gives a good grip, not heavy at all. A little bit tug and pull when combing.

    SHINE
    Nice medium shine.

HOLD IN NORMAL AND (HEAVY) WEATHER CONDITIONS
It has a firm hold! Heavy wind and some rain don’t destroy your hair. Didn’t test it in the heat but this pomade holds in the heat, I am very certain. Holds the hair in place most of the day. It feels light in the hair, no helmet feel at all. It tames my manes fantastic! It’s great!

    RESTYLING
No problem. There is no loss of hold after recombing! But you don’t need to recomb much!

    BUILD UP
It gives a clean build up.
    WASHING OUT
You need 1, 2 shampoos to wash it out completely because it’s a firm. When using water and some sort of a conditioner, the most is out of your hair and it feels conditioned. Complete wash out: your hair feels healthy and soft afterwards.

    CONCLUSION
This is a high quality condtioning pomade for an okay price and it’s a hand made brew. Its breakdown needs practice and patience. Restyling is not a problem. Restyling is not really necessary because it keeps the manes in place! Nice medium shine. You do not need much for a great result so you can do a long time with it. Weather has not that bad influence to mess up your hair. This is a firm pomade that tames the manes. So buy it, it’s great! You won’t regret it at all! This is one of the best water based pomades in my opinion! It’s certainly heavier than the previous one.

This is one of my go to water base pomades. The hold is more of a firm. It’s so versatile. You can use it for loose styles or even neat styles. Plus it’s all natural! You can check out my full review at https://slickpomadereviews.wordpress.com/2015/08/23/odouds-water-based-pomade-2/

This is one of my most frequent used pomades. The breaking down part is a bit tricky at first but once you get the hang of it its like you’ve never used anything else before. It scoops out like peanut butter and has a hold that goes from medium on a bad day to firm on a good day. The all natural part makes it feel amazing in your hair when its in there and when you wash it out. For the whole review check out my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WY93aQh9hQE
