Recommended to use on dry hair for more manageable feel and all day restyling, can also be applied to wet or towel dry hair for a different setting once hair is dry. Categorised as a water based pomade, gel pomade, orthodox pomade, ‘ringing’ gel pomade. Has a heavy hold. It’s a chemical based one. It is not a brillantine, this is marketing to distinguish.

Water, Ceteareth-25, Polyyurethane-14, Glycerin, AMP-Acrylates Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Polysorbate-20, PVP, Disodium EDTA, DMDM Hydantoin, Fragrance, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Butylphenyl Methylpropinal, Limonene, Linalool, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Red 33, Yellow 5, Titanium Dioxide, Mica.

Very sweet, candy smell. It’s overwhelming. You can smell it the whole day without it fading. Someone sensitive to scents, can be disturbed by it.

Pink color, not the ordinary gel pomade look. No problem to get it out the jar. It has no thick texture but, very sticky it is. Breaking it down is a piece of cake.

You rather use it on damp, a bit wet hair because of its strength and stickiness. Than you avoid tug and pull. Don’t need much of it. Take small scoops and not too much because it’ll weight down your hair (very sticky). The grip is very strong immediately. It didn’t style that easy for me. There’s a bit tugging and pulling while combing but for a sticky heavy product as this, that’s fine. It tames my cowlicks allright.

Starts with a bit of shine that fades after a while.

The hold is heavy. Some wind, a bit of rain and some heat will not destroy your pomp. It keeps the hair well in place during the day, a few strays but that’s it. At the start it feels like wearing a helmet, you using a hairgel, stickiness. After drying I didn’t had a hard gel feeling maybe because I did not use that much or using it on a bit wet hair. The pomade just settled.

Water. The hold is still okay ather recombing. But restyling isn’t the case most of the time!

Just water. Your hair and scalp feel slightly dry, coarse. This dryness will become more when you use it on a daily base. But all this said: it ‘s still an orthodox, those tend to dry out. But this one is a better one than ‘a sucking the life out of your hair suavecito’ in my opinion.

    – Keeps the hair in place during the whole day.
    – Won’t need much product, so you can use it much longer.
    – Resist some rain, wind and heat.
    – Hair and scalp aren’t a dry desert after the wash.
    – It doesn’t harden as much as some other gel pomades.

    – Scent is overwhelming, too sweet.
    – Styls not so easy because of the stickiness.
    – Very personal: contains too much chemicals. Too much fragrance stuff in it.
